Hello and thank you for stopping by DogBedX.com!
This site was created to completely cover a sometimes overlooked area in your pets’ lives; they’re beds.
Did you know that dogs sleep over 14 hours per day on average? If you slept 14 hours per day, wouldn’t you want a bed that was comfortable and proper for your figure to make sure you slept sound and through the night?
It is important your puppy has it’s own resting area specifically for them. If they don’t, they can become quite aggressive and even have health issues.
Here are some quick tips:
If buying a puppy bed, you can buy a large dog bed to save you money in the long run as they grow into it. While this maybe sound like a good option, your puppy can possible feel a bit uncomfortable in such a large bed and overwhelmed. Also, if your new puppy goes potty on the bed, you might have to replace therefore costing you more than if you had bought a small dog bed first. Depending on your puppy dog, the long route might be the right route; a cheap small dog bed at first, and then you can purchase a large dog bed once your puppy dog grows into a full grown adult dog.
If your buying a bed for a full grown dog, you would probably want to buy a large dog bed. Since your dog is fully grown, you also need to consider your dogs sleeping habits. You might ask yourself, ‘Does my dog like to stretch out when it sleeps or does it like to curl up in a ball?”. Most smaller dogs like to stretch out while larger dogs usually prefer to curl up when they sleep.
If your buying a dog bed for an older dog, you might think about purchasing an orthopedic dog bed or even a memory foam dog bed. These provide extra comfort for dogs and can help with many diseases dogs develop as they grow older like arthritis. An extra large dog bed might also be good for older dogs so they don’t have to adjust so often during the night which can result in increased pain for the dog because of stiffness in they’re joints.
One thing you should always try to find when choosing a dog bed is a dog bed that has a dog bed cover. Dog Bed Covers help in taking care of your dog’s hygiene and can also get rid of unwanted fleas, ticks, or bed bugs that might make a home on the bed. It can also help you change the style of the bed as your decor changes in the place the bed resides.
Whichever route you choose to go, make sure it’s the route your dog would want you to choose. After all, it’s the best family member you have!
